Having a long-distance relationship can be stressful as you long to be with the other person but you cannot be with them as much as you would like. Long distance relationships are not limited to spouses; it also includes friends and family. When a person moves or changes numbers it is easy to lose touch. In today’s society we never lose touch with anyone else thanks to our advanced technology. Using Dell PCs a person can talk to loved ones with ease. Here are some ways to keep in touch with everyone!

Skype
When people think about talking to others long distance Skype comes to mind. While there are paid features of Skype a person can talk to anyone anywhere in the world absolutely free. There is no limit to how long a person can talk or what they can talk about. Chat every hour, every day, weekly, biweekly or monthly on Skype. All a person has to do is download the service to their computer and add the people you would like to speak to. When it is time to chat a person can select who they would like to talk to and press the call button. During the call you can even share files and other things. This makes it easy to share pictures of the kids with a loved one that may be deployed or far away.

Facetime
Apple lovers can use FaceTime. From the Apple website FaceTime is great for ipad2, iPod touch and iPhone to make video calls to each other. After downloading the program select it to look at what a person’s friends is up to. Pick the contact in the FaceTime application and select the FaceTime button. It will reach the invitation to the other person letting them know if he or she wants to take the call. The video call works when the other person agrees to talk.

Blogs
One thing that people didn’t think about using is a blog. It’s already in public display, so why can’t it be used to keep up with family moments? With the right settings it can be used as a public diary. A person can give out public information he or she would be comfortable sharing. Posting photos, videos, audio, and written content will help loved ones as if they are right there with you.

Social Networks
Social networks are the most common way to communicate with loved ones. With a Dell computer a person can keep in touch with everyone they care about. Unlike blogs that can be days old social networks keep up with loved ones in real time. A person can’t see them in real time like Skype and FaceTime can but like a blog multimedia can be sent over the internet airwaves. There are many social networking sites but the most popular ones for long distance relationships is Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. Facebook is the social site where a person can post multimedia and communicate with others. MySpace is geared toward music lovers but still an alternative to Facebook. Twitter is a micro blog social site where a person informs loved ones what is going on now–in 140 characters or less.

Pope John Paul II was someone who very much loved by the people of Poland, no doubt about it! Born in Wadowice, Poland in 1920. Before becoming Pope, he studied at Jagiellonian University in Krakow and became archbishop in the city for 15 years. Krakow community called “Wujek Lolek” (Uncle Chuck), and he is known as a friendly person, like humor, and fond of exercise. He played a lot of skiing and hiking with young children! Not surprisingly, the city of Krakow in Poland has the most / build historical places associated with him.

To the world, known as John Paul II, Pope from 1978 to 2005 with their work in the fields of peace, especially the Catholic reconciliation with other religions. For the people of Poland, he was not just a religious leader. He is an inspirational figure, a hero who was instrumental in overthrowing the communist regime in Poland and eventually the ground water throughout Eastern Europe.

Epic moment began when he visited Poland for 9 days on 2 to 10 June 1979 and a visit several cities in Poland including Warsaw, Gniezno, Czestochowa and Krakow. His visit was greeted and hundreds of thousands of citizens were willing to jostle to be able to attend the holy Mass with him. At that time Poland was still under the grip of a repressive communist Soviet Union without any freedom of speech. Comes within the context of religion, Pope John Paul II did not preach about politics or encourage listeners to oppose the regime openly. However many times he warned about the spiritual identity, culture, and history of the Polish people. “You are not who ‘They’ say you are,” said the Pope, “let me remind you WHO you really are.”

In the context of an oppressed nation, the Pope’s speech (and his subsequent visits) have strengthened the Polish people that they are not alone in facing the Soviet Union occupation. The visit was able to inspire the Polish people that they have great spirituality and history of the past which amplifies them to achieve their freedom back.

Continuation of the visit, as we know, is people power that is realized a year later in the labor movement Solidarity led by Lech Walesa. It was not a short process; but just a decade after John Paul II’s visit in Poland, the Solidarity movement capable of overthrowing communism in Poland in 1989 without violence.

In many cities in Poland, notably in Krakow, seen a lot of monuments, pictures, or the buildings are made to commemorate or inspired by John Paul II. His name has been immortalized as one of the street names in Warsaw protocol (Aleja Jana Pawła II) and the name of international airport in Krakow since 2007 (Kraków Airport im. Jana Pawła II).

Why? because next year biggest football event in Europe will be held in these two countries.

You might wonder about the preparation, lets find out. Poland seems to be really serious in doing its national stadium construction in order to qualify as a world-class arena football game. On June 8, 2012, the opening match of EURO 2012 will be held at the Stadium Narodowy (National Stadium) in Warsaw, Poland.

Stadion Narodowy construction has been started since last year, precisely on February 17, 2010 with the construction plan takes a total of 500 days. The stadium is planned to be the largest stadium in Poland and is equipped with a movable roof that sophisticated structure. Its location was strategic, that is, on the banks of the river Vistula near Centrum (city center) and easily reached by public transport. His official address at ul. Zieleniecka 1, but if you want to come here, closer down at the stop Rondo Waszyngtona (bus no 111, 117, 158, 166, 507, 517, 512 and tram No. 7, 8, 9, 22, 24, 25).

Actually at this location once the existing football stadium, stadium name is often abbreviated Dziesięciolecia or X-Lecia Stadium (meaning “10th Anniversary Stadium”) which was established in 1955. Had a large variety of sporting events held here. But since 1983, the stadium is no longer used as a match venue and become dormant, there is no attempt to fix it because the cost is considered too large and not profitable.

Five years later (1989), the stadium area was rented out as folk largest market area in Central and Eastern Europe where there are more than 5000 merchants who sell here. Market its official name “Jarmark Europa” and is managed by a trading company Damis. In 2007, the Warsaw government’s decided to build the National Stadium at this location so the market is also displaced to somewhere else, precisely moved to Marywilska 44 located on the edge of Warsaw.

Since its inception, the construction of this stadium is already attracted the attention of many people. Football is indeed the most popular sport in Poland and of course the people here crave magnificent football stadium can be proud of. Narodowy new stadium is planned thoroughly completed on November 30, 2011.

There will be 58,000 seats in the stands, 965 toilets, 1758 parking spaces, and 110 seats for disabled people. The total area of the stadium (including parking areas) of 18 ha, while the building itself spacious 204,000 m2 with high ceiling at 112 m.

That’s serious preparation for biggest football event in Europe, Euro 2012 here we come.
