Muzeum Narodowe w Warszawie is the biggest arts museum in Poland. In there almost about 1 million of arts collection from statue, paintings, numismatika (coin or medallion that serves as a currency).

The collections are not only form Poland, but also comes from around the world. Those collection some of it have 140 years old of ages, ranging from ancient art, medieval to modern era. Really extensive (there are 3 floors) so that might need more then one day to finish looking at all the collection.

Warsaw International Jazz Festival

Summer is an exciting time to enjoy the atmosphere of cities in Europe and its civilization. In this season, many attractions and performances in an open space held for the public. Typically on weekends, free of charge and always filled with people who want to relax while enjoying the entertainment. Warsaw, the capital of Poland, of course not to be outdone. Summer for the city is the perfect time to promote itself as a cultural city.

In 2011, the International Jazz Open Air Festival in the Old City of Warsaw for the 17th time! Its official name “Międzynarodowy Plenerowy XVII Festiwal Jazz na Starówce”. Just like previous years, jazz music concerts that are open and free to the public is held every Saturday starting at 7 pm, during the months of July-August. Musicians featured are from different countries and different every week.

Kaczka Pieczona z Jabłkami

Kaczka Pieczona z Jabłkami or could be translated as Roast Duck with Apple, is the most wanted culinary in Poland. If you do stop in restaurant that specialized in Polish food or kuchnia Polska, this menu is always there. This is indeed one of the typical Polish recipes.

At summer time, many local restaurants in Warsaw’s Old Town area whom rely on this menu to attract the tourists. Roasted Duck with Apples writings adorn any big board in front of the restaurant menu as its special menu of the day.

Warsaw Sightseeing

Yup, the easiest part seeing all historic places and other places of interest in Warsaw, could be access by taxy, but that’s if you got more money to spend.

Others ways to do it is by bus, join local tour, then you could access the city with bus, and explore it with bus sightseeing. These type of transportation are more familiar. Not just in the countries of Europe and America, turned out to branches in Singapore is also already there. How easy. You can buy tickets directly at the driver, sitting pretty on the top deck (let steady scenery), and then they will took you to many tourist interest in Warsaw.

Stare Miasto

This place is to good to be missed, make sure you visit Stare Miasto when you’re in Warsaw. Old Town or in polish language Stare Miasto is the oldest historic district in Warsaw and really beautiful!.

Built in the 13th century, all the buildings in this place had been destroyed to the ground by German soldiers during World War II. It was not until the 1950′s rebuilt, brick-by-brick and so painstakingly to take> 10 years (precisely from 1949 to 1963 and 1970), and now includes a list of UNESCO World Heritage Site.
